Codes of practice have been developed in order to provide guidance for working safely with refrigerants, both in a stationary and transport refrigeration and air conditioning; and automotive air conditioning context.

The Australia and New Zealand Refrigerant Handling Code of Practice 2025 (stationary and transport)

This two-part Code applies to the stationary and transport refrigeration and air conditioning systems, not automotive air conditioning.
